Located in the Senior Common Room of Champlain College, Symons Campus of Trent University, The Seasoned Spoon is a non-profit, vegetarian, cooperative cafe that offers a menu featuring soups, salads, wraps, daily specials, freshly baked goods, fair trade hot chocolate, coffee, and tea. Vegan and gluten-free options are also served. Local, seasonal and organic ingredients are used in food preparation. Outdoor seats are available. Catering service is also offered. The cafe also provides a number of educational initiatives through volunteer opportunities, workshops, and conferences.
