Abessina is a restaurant that serves Eritrean and Ethiopian dishes. Among those offered are salads, hummus, meat dishes, vegetarian and vegan fare, coffee, beer, wine, and more. Most meals are served on injera bread, a slightly sour and spongy pancake, with spicy vegetables and meat piled on top of it. These dishes are then shared and eaten by hand. Reservations are accepted. The restaurant also hosts the fascinating African coffee ceremony.
