Saraya is a bed and breakfast, art gallery, and restaurant/cafe. The restaurant/cafe offers a vegetarian menu featuring starters, soups and salads, sandwiches and wraps, mains (aloo/cheese/radish/veg kheema paratha, thali of the day, jacket potato), pasta of the day, wood-fired oven pizzas, kids' meals, vegan desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages (seasonal juices, smoothies, coconut milk, organic coffee, tea). All soups are served with local, toasted bread and a portion of the house salad. Sandwiches are made with poi - the local bread of Goa. Pasta of the day is prepared using freshly rolled, whole wheat flour pasta that is made from scratch. All pizza crusts are thin and made from 100% whole wheat flour. Pizza cheeses (mozzarella, feta, ricotta, halloumi) are homemade and freshly prepared. All dishes are carefully flavoured with selected herbs and spices. Vegan and gluten-free options are also served. Pizzas are available during dinner only. Dishes are cooked to order. Local and organic ingredients are used whenever possible. Many of these ingredients come from Saraya's own organic farm. Customers can dine outdoors. Food can be ordered for takeaway. Credit card payments are accepted. The restaurant/cafe is constructed from bamboo and other recycled materials, using traditional building methods. Saraya also hosts various workshops and classes.
