Housed in a striking building that dates from 1772, Costelloe's Malthouse is a restaurant that offers a menu featuring starters, salads, mains, homemade sauces, cakes, pies, tarts, shortbread, a selection of local cheeses, fair trade organic coffee, organic wines, and more. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are also served. Menu changes on an almost daily basis. The restaurant also serves lunch from 12:30 to 14:30 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday during July and August. Local, seasonal and organic ingredients are used in food preparation. Catering service is also offered. Credit cards are accepted. Artworks from local artists are displayed on the walls of the restaurant. All the pieces are for sale. The restaurant was previously named The Malthous Granary.
