The Wheatsheaf Inn is a pub and restaurant that offers a menu featuring vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and meat dishes. Vegetarian/vegan dishes include sizzling vegetable fajitas, sweet potato, asparagus, walnut & haloumi, mushroom & bell pepper stroganoff, mixed bean chilli, polenta tower, mushroom & chargrilled bell pepper burger, and handmade to order pizza. Reservations are accepted. Outdoor seats are available. Catering service is also offered. The pub/restaurant also carries a range of board games behind the bar such as Scrabble, Othello, Monopoly and playing cards. The Wheatsheaf Inn is housed in an 18th Century Freehouse located just off the A41 between Chester and Whitchurch, and near the Shropshire Union canal and the Sandstone Trail.
