Located inside the Lancrigg Vegetarian Country House Hotel, Green Valley offers international vegetarian food using fresh and organic wholefood ingredients. The meal can be complemented by a wide variety of organically produced wines and beers from the extensive cellar. Spirits, liqueurs, soft drinks and fruit juices are also available. Dinner consists of a choice of courses from the menu. The restaurant also caters for vegans and people with food allergies. Breakfast consists of a selection of cereals, fruit salad and smoothies. This may be followed by potato cakes, poached eggs, mushrooms, basil tomatoes, baked beans, vegetarian patties and grilled tofu or homemade Danish pastries with local organic cheese. One can also have homemade wholewheat toast and best quality jams and marmalade. The restaurant is open all day for breakfast, coffees, lunch, teas and dinner for hotel guests and non residents.
