A non-profit cafe that serves a range of freshly cooked vegetarian and vegan dishes. Among those offered are salads, potato & chickpea curry wrap, asparagus/pea/mint quiche, potato/onion/cheese open tart, kids' meals, homemade cakes, muffins, scones, locally roasted coffee, and a wide selection of teas. Vegan items are marked in the menu. Gluten-free options are also offered. Dishes are prepared using locally sourced seasonal ingredients and organic produce from Mudlarks' allotment site. The cafe is run by Mudlarks, which is Hertford’s community gardening charity. This charity aims to integrate people with learning difficulties and mental health issues into the community through gardening.
