The five star rated Quaker Tapestry Tearooms have an inviting, friendly and peaceful environment that keeps up with the spirituality of the Quaker Tapestry Exhibition Centre. Located in the courtyard of the Quaker Tapestry Exhibition Centre, the tearooms serve a wide range of tasty vegetarian snacks, hearty soups, imaginative meals, delectable cakes and desserts, with plenty of vegan, dairy-free and wheat-free alternatives. All teas and coffees are fair trade certified, and a wide range of fruit juices and cold drinks is also available. The wealth of local produce available is used whenever possible to provide an eclectic mix of vegetarian food to suit all tastes. Most of the menu items can also be prepared as takeaways. Children are always welcome in the tearooms. A children's menu, a toybox and high chairs are available for the little ones. There is full disabled access directly from the car park, and room for wheelchairs in the tearooms. The tearooms also welcome group visits, and can provide special refreshment packages.
