Description
The Sumac Cafe is a volunteer-run, independent community and resource center that offers a range of delicious meals, snacks and refreshments at very reasonable prices, in a friendly and pleasant environment. The cafe's menu includes filling meals that are freshly-made daily, where possible using locally grown and/or organic ingredients. Children's meals are also available. Home-baked cakes, ice cream, special desserts, all-organic tea, fair trade coffee, soya drinks and pure fruit juices are also offered. All food and drink served in the cafe is of course completely vegan and is therefore suitable for all diets and cultures. The cafe opens during Saturday evenings from 18:30-20:30 for the People's Kitchen, Sundays from 12:00-15:00 for the vegan brunch and some Wednesday evenings for guest speakers and films.
