Description
Earthen Jar is a small vegetarian restaurant that offers a buffet consisting
of vegan and vegetarian Indian dishes, salads, sides, baked goods, desserts,
and more. Most entrees are vegan. Beverages offered include rubicon juices,
masala chai, lassi, and herbal teas. All meals are sold by the pound. Outdoor
seats are available. Food can be ordered for takeaway. Catering service is
also offered.

Earthen jar is my favorite Ann Arbor restaurant. Be careful what you put on your plate as the food is priced by the pound. It is REALLY easy to pile up all the delicious Indian dishes and end up with a rather sizable tab. Also make sure to confirm which dishes are vegan and which aren't. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
