A cafe serving plant-based fare. Among those offered are tomato basil soup, egg-plant-fila sandwich with vegan cheese and bbq sauce, raw hummus wrap, jackfruit tacos, Southern fried cauliflower, jackfruit sliders, lasagna roll, sides (avocado slaw, baked beans, guacamole and chips, kale salad, sauteed kale), baked goods (scones, brownies, peanut butter cookies), and drinks (pineapple ginger lemonade, Rare Variety punch, coffee, Bonita's hibiscus tea). Everything is freshly prepared in-house. Outdoor seats are available. Rare Variety Cafe also hosts yoga and cooking classes. The cafe is part of a food hub and initially started as a co-op with Axiom Farms Cooperative.
