Mylapore is a South Indian vegetarian restaurant that offers a menu consisting of appetizers, soups, over 25 varieties of dosas and uthappams, thali meals, Indo Chinese dishes, sides, desserts, and beverages. Popular dishes include bhel puri, samosa chole, idly/vada combo, thali, paratha and vegetable khorma, poori aloo, onion rava masala dosa, onion uthappam, kothu paratha, and vegetable biryani. All appetizers and dosas are served with sambar and coconut chutney. Thali contents change daily depending on what is available in the local farmers' market. Frozen vegetables are not used in food preparation. All masalas and podis are sun dried and ground in-house. Chutney is prepared using fresh coconut that is grated daily, and ground every hour. Pickles are made in-house. Coffee beans are ground and brewed fresh after an order. Outdoor seats are available. Food can be ordered for takeaway. Catering service is also offered.
