A cafe offering plant-based comfort food. Menu features brunch items, appetizers, salads, value meals, sandwiches and entrees, black bean or lentil burgers, jumbo veggie dogs, 14-inch pizzas, sides, and drinks. Customers can also create their own pizzas. Gluten-free pizza crusts are available. Dishes free of gluten and soy, and those with gluten-free options, are marked in the menu. Sandwiches, burgers and entrees come with a choice of fries, sauteed veggies, black beans, spicy coleslaw, sauteed kale, or side salad. PIzza crusts are handmade and topped with a homemade red wine-based sauce. Brunch is offered on Sundays only. Pizzas are served on Tuesdays only; and customers should pre-order. Everything is handcrafted from scratch. Local, organic and non-genetically modified ingredients are used whenever possible. Takeaway is available. Cash and credit card payments are accepted. Sanctuary Vegan Cafe's main goal is to eventually acquire land, start rescuing abused and neglected animals, and provide a lifetime sanctuary for these animals with the cafe's profits.
