Off the Griddle is a vegetarian food cart that serves fresh, homemade, vegan and vegetarian burgers. All patties are vegan and gluten-free, served on Dave's Killer Bread buns (not gluten-free). Gluten-free bread is also available upon request. Also offered are fresh-cut fries, seasonal soup and side salad, wraps, juices, and Lion Heart kombucha. Local and organic ingredients are used as much as possible. Outdoor seats are available. Food can be ordered for takeaway. The cart is 100% powered by renewable energy; with some harvested through solar panels on the roof and the remainder purchased from Portland General Electric. Off the Griddle has temporarily closed in order to open up a brick-and-mortar restaurant in 2013.
