Happy Veggie is a small vegetarian restaurant that offers Asian vegetarian cuisine using a variety of mock meats. Menu includes starters, salads, soups, entrees, house specialties, sides, desserts, and beverages. All salads are tossed in a sweet and refreshing blend of rice vinegar and ground pepper. Only the freshest local ingredients are used in food preparation. All dishes are free of meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and MSG; however, there may be whey in some food ingredients and some desserts may not be all vegan. Takeaway is available. Catering service is also offered. Starting 31 May 2011, the restaurant will be closed for lunch Monday thru Friday but will be open for dinner.
