The problem with Evolution is inconsistency. They describe themselves as "Vegan Fast Food", which is totally accurate. The food can be a bit greasy - but it's comfort food and it's meant to be that way. They have some AWESOME items (if you happen to visit when they have their pistachio soft serve DO NOT skip this amazing dessert! It's the best vegan ice cream I've ever had. They always offer some variety of soft serve, but the pistachio is far and away the best) including multiple choices of burgers, many different smoothies, raw items, and ready made sandwiches (their "chikn salad" is amazing!) - including house made wraps that can be found in grocery stores around the area.

The problem is their erratic hours and service. Evolution often closes earlier than their posted time for no apparent reason (I've headed down to Evolution half a dozen times or so only to find them closed sometimes an hour before posted times), and the difference in service from server to server can be immense - with some servers going out of their way to help (you order at the counter and are called up again when your order is ready. On a few occasions I've waited outside for my name to be called only to be surprised by a server bringing my food right to me!) and some servers so rude that they mess up my order every time I'm there, rudely criticize customers, and flat out ignore people waiting in line.

I'll keep going to Evolution, but it's rolling the dice. You never know what you might get!
