I was so excited when this place opened up! This has got to be the best vegan restaurant in San Diego. Moncai has been a (delicious) fixture at local farmers markets and their permanent location doesn't disappoint. The menu is constantly changing, so you never know what amazing surprise might greet you. If you happen to come on a day when they are making pirogi don't even think twice about ordering - absolutely delicious! This place is owned by the chefs and you can really tell how much they love what they do (and how much love they put into it!)
