Description
Spread is a vegetarian restaurant that offers a menu consisting of flowering
arugula and beet salad, Thai veggie pizza, wild mushroom ragu, chocolate
melange, freshly made peanut spread fondue of the day, basil lime sangria,
lavender lemonade, and more. Vegan options are also offered. Each dish is
served one at a time to encourage sharing. Menu changes every single day
depending on the fresh, organic produce available in local farms and farmer's
markets. The restaurant also specializes in nut spreads. Reservations are

Decent food (much of it grown on site!), but the hours are odd and the menu is often prix fixe - which can be a problem if you don't happen to love the limited selection of items. I went on Valentines Day one year with my wife and they had edible silver in the food (it's THAT kind of place). The decor/atmosphere is romantic and inviting, so it's great for a fancy date night - but the food is overpriced and somewhat pretentious. I'd go there again - but I wouldn't want to pay.
