Located in a historical Victorian house on Main Street in downtown Sebastopol and inspired by the great conservationist and Scottish native John Muir, Muir's Tea Room serves standard lunch items such as homemade soups, salads with homemade dressings, and sandwiches. Also offered is the traditional Scottish/English tea service with tiered racks. High tea service features finger sandwiches, petit fours, scones, fairy cakes, pastries, and a pot of tea. All menu items are plant-based. Gluten-free options are available with advanced notice. A tea rack for kids is available. Local and organic ingredients are used whenever possible. Within the tea room is a full coffee bar with specialty drinks, and a gift shop selling gourmet food, living floral arrangements, home and garden products, locally made artisan bath products, children's items, and vintage pieces. Reservations and credit card payments are accepted. Outdoor seats are available. Food can be ordered for takeaway.
