Being a vegetarian is awesome! What's more awesome than that? Spending a day, or possibly days celebrating being a vegetarian/vegan with other veggies! There are loads of veggie festivals around the world. How fun?! Here is a list of festivals worldwide.... Is one happening near you?

Northern Vegan Festival, Manchester, England, 13 April
Here they have 90 vegan stalls with body care, clothing, gifts, cakes and chocolate, national and local vegan organizations and groups. There will be tons of caterers and free samples and children's activities, films, entertainment, and cookery demos too!

39th Vegetarian Summerfest, Pennsylvania, USA, 3 - 7 July 2013
At the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Pennsylvania you will enjoy a relaxing day with hundreds of people. Besides good food there will be vegetarian and vegan doctors, dieticians, chefs, authors, social activists and other educators.

As if Malaysia needs a festival... They have amazing veggies friendly food year around but this festival sounds pretty cool, too!

There are many more festivals world wide. Veggie or not, there's no way you can have a bad time at a festival filled with good food and good people. I've been to the one in Phuket and I cant wait to add more to my list!

Cool post! There's the http://veggieworld.de/ in Germany every year, although that seems to be more about informing about & selling products. The veggie street day in Berlin is fun, it's every year in.. August I think. Right at the Alexanderplatz.
