Why do you need a Vegman account? 
The quality of the Vegman database depends on the VEGMAN community. In order to keep the website and the Apps up to date we are all depending on each other. The Vegman Website offers features that allow all community members to suggest new restaurants, flag wrong/outdated content, write reviews, post tips, upload images, post comments ... and much more.
To use those new features you have to be logged in. Before you can log in you have to setup a Vegman account by signing up.

To make it short: We need as many active community members as possible in order to keep the Vegman database up to date.

Signing up works like this:
Spot the 2 buttons in the upper right corner on www.vegman.org labeled "Login" & "Sign up". Click the "Sign up" button and check out the pop up that will open:

1. You can sign up using one of your social accounts, like Facebook, Twitter or Google+. Just click your favored button and follow the instructions. You will end up on the same sign up form with some fields being prefilled (depending on the chosen social service different fields may be prefilled). Just complete the form by filling in all the remaining empty fields.
   
   
2. If you do not want to link your Vegman account to a social account just ignore the 3 buttons and fill the form manually. You will still be able to link the accounts at any later point, should you change your mind.

What's the difference? Signing up using a social account will allow you to login faster during your next visits. Instead of entering your email address and password you just have to click one button.

After completing the sign up form proceed by clicking the "Sign up" button. This will bring up the sign up confirmation page which will tell you to check your emails and click the confirmation link inside the confirmation email.
Bam! That's it. You are now ready to login and use all of the new features on Vegman.

Important: If you do not receive the confirmation email within 2 minutes please make sure to check your spam folder. Especially if you entered a hotmail, google or gmx email address there is a big chance that you will find the confirmation email inside your spam folder. If you cannot find the confirmation email at all, please get in contact with us.
